Assistant accountant

Working in one of the busiest finance teams you will report into the Finance Manager. The role is an integral part of the finance team and will provide the right candidate with the opportunity to develop their financial skills. Whilst the focus of the job will be to maintain and prepare the profit and loss account and balance sheet there will be an opportunity for the right candidate to become involved in other tasks and ad-hoc projects.

You will support the production and analysis of the monthly management accounts, the preparation of prepayments accruals and balance sheet reconciliations, sales commissions for salary payments and posting journals.

You will be studying towards an accountancy qualification and have intermediate level Excel skills. you will be able to work on your own initiative and be a great team player.
