Part-Time Payroller

PART TIME PAYROLLER
REQUIRED FOR A MATERNITY COVER

My client is seeking a part time payroll clerk who is competent in using Sage Payroll. This role is a part time position and the hours will be a minimum of 16 per week, however on a payroll week you may be required to work more hours.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is seeking flexible part time working hours, with experience of auto enrolment and RTI.

The duties and responsibilities will include:

- Processing payroll for 300+ staff on a 4 weekly basis, plus a monthly pay run for 16 employees.
- Dealing with PAYE, NIC, SSP, SMP etc.
- BACS payment run.
- Printing and issuing payslips, some emailed.
- Dealing with any deductions - ie pensions, attachment of earnings.
- Maintaining company absence records.
- Liaising with HMRC/CSA/clients and employees.

As well as payroll you will be responsible for weekly expenses and assisting with the accounts. As the ideal candidate you will have working knowledge of auto enrolment and RTI.
