Assistant Accountant
The Opportunity:
It is a rare opportunity for a bright and ambitious candidate to join a well established company and further expand your skills and knowledge. Our client handles the fund accounting for a diverse portfolio of customers. You will be responsible for producing the accounts and handling the day to day administration for a series of investment funds, attend relevant client meetings, help in annual audit process etc.
Qualifications and Experience:
Essential
- The ideal candidate will have all round accounts preparation experience within an accountancy practice
- Early stage or half way through ACCA /CIMA/ ACA (please bear in mind, our client will not consider finalists)
- Experience of providing financial information for review
- Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable communicating with individuals at senior levels
- Can do attitude, ability to cope with tight deadlines and working under pressure
- To be considered for this role you must also have a strong record of academic achievement , with good A-levels and a numerate degree
- Intermediate Excel skills
Desired
- Knowledge of the industry is desirable but not essential
- Advanced Excel skills
