Assistant Accountant – Investment Funds Specialist recruitment
The Opportunity
Our client is a growing financial services firm having recently moved into new offices in Central London. Due to further growth, the firm has a vacancy for an Assistant Accountant within their fund accounting team. Reporting directly into the Team Leader, you'll have responsibility for preparing the financial accounts for a series of Private Equity fund structures. You'll also be covering bank reconciliations as well as the fees and rebates for these structures.
Your Profile
Ideally, the client is looking to meet with candidates who are mid-way through their ACCA studies. The client will not consider finalists for this role. You will ideally be working in a small practice (doing preparation of accounts as opposed to audit), or have worked in financial services for the last 1-2 years doing accounts preparation for Private Equity structures. The client will expect you to have a strong record of academic achievement. Strong interpersonal skills are a must for this role as you will be dealing with senior management on a day to day basis.
