Assistant Compliance Officer recruitment
The successful candidate should have at least 12 months experience working within the compliance space, ideally in a banking institution with Wholesale Financial Markets exposure. As an intrinsic part of a small team which works closely with each other, it is essential that the candidate be friendly, responsible, proactive, self-motivated and keen to learn.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- To provide support and assistance to the rest of the compliance team including the Compliance Manager the Compliance Monitoring Officer
- To assist with compliance reviews and to be involved with regular trade surveillance exercises
- To assist with the running of the monitoring and surveillance programmes.
- To assist with any administration or regulatory processes
- To perform checks and test control to ensure adherence to departmental policies and procedures
- To generally assist with daily running of the office and providing support to the other team members wherever there is a need.
Skills Required:
- Degree level qualification or similar.
- Wholesale Banking Markets exposure ideally gained through either a risk, audit or compliance role
- Ability and keenness to take on responsibility and to meet deadlines and set targets
- Good organization skills and a flexibility to go the extra mile when needed
