House Hasson Hardware is seeking an experienced Assistant Controller to join our Accounting team. Qualified candidates will have a degree in accounting plus 3-5 years accounting experience. This position reports to the CFO, and is primarily responsible for multi-state sales tax duties and associated government filings.

We are looking for candidates with a demonstrated ability in general ledger accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and income tax. This person must be able to research and problem solve with minimal supervision. Strong time-management skills, good attention to detail and organization are required.

Other duties may include (but are not limited to): intercompany transactions, monthly review of subsidiary financials and backup duties, reconciling accounts receivable, prepaid expenses, and other duties as assigned. The assistant controller also plays a key role in preparations for the annual audit.
