Assistant Finance Manager – Lending reporting recruitment
My client is looking for a candidate who has experience of Balance Sheet Reporting and some experience of financial modelling.
Good systems skills will be of benefit and experience of dealing with large databases will also be of advantage.
This individual will have direct involvement inMonthly Lending Reporting: Where source system extracts are run through a series of rules which analyses the movements into a number of categories.
They will need to demonstrate an ability to work both autonomously and within a team to produce value-adding insightful business information
A great focus is placed on lending and reporting is becoming a key piece of analysis within finance and the business with plans to improve the reporting further in 2012.
Tasks include:
•Updating the models each month
•Changing and amending the existing models to keep in line with latest information
•Creating new models when new data sources are brought into the reporting
•Production of the monthly MI, insight analysis
•Ad hoc investigation and issue resolution, including responding to queries from Business/Finance
There will also be opportunities to assist with bespoke project based work on the Balance Sheet adding insight into the numbers, drawing conclusions from the results and making recommendations where necessary.
Essential Skills/Qualifications
-Part or newly qualified (CIMA, ACA, ACCA)
-Excellent Microsoft office skills, particularly Excel and Access
-Analytical skills
-Attention to detail
