Salary – 150k – 200k USD base salary + benefits bonus
Description
A leading Global Consumer bank is looking to expand its legal department with senior hires within their offices in Washington DC. The role offers senior candidates a unique opportunity to gain excellent management experience as well as wide exposure across a large retail/consumer portfolio.
The position will report directly into the General Counsel and so will have ample senior management facing and will be required to have contact with the board and assist on senior strategy decisions. The group which the position is located within is looking to hire after a very strong performance throughout last year, which has resulted in a release of headcount for senior hires.
Ideal candidates will have the following experience.....
- 7-15yrs experience in a in-house legal group or with a law firm
- Qualified Lawyer (with Bar entry)
- Experience with Consumer lending / Bankruptcy Law
- Dodd-Frank knowledge
- Proven management experience
- Experience with Origination servicing of consumer loans.
- Experience in managing outside counsel
