Assistant Group Accountant
Operating in a dynamic, fast paced environment, a unique and exciting opportunity exists for an Assistant Group Accountant to join a growing finance team. Working closely with other teams within the business, this role will have responsibility for production of monthly reports for external distribution, provide support in production of the Group and European cashflow forecasts and prepare IFRS compliant schedules for review by senior management.
The role will be based in Cambridge but may require travel to other offices across the UK.
Mandatory requirements
- Part-qualified ACCA or equivalent
Team player with a customer centric focus
Excellent attention to detail Strong task management skills and initiative
Ability and confidence to work with individuals across all levels of the business
Intermediate or advanced Excel skills
Highly regarded
Exposure to IFRS
Experience of working for external clients
Specific Responsibilities
Preparation of monthly investment cashflow
Preparation of monthly investor reporting and support
Liaison with Asset Management team
Support in forecasting Group monthly cashflow and PL
Preparation of the European and Group consolidation
Year-end reporting and reconciliations
