Customer Advisor

Hays Banking are currently looking for a number of Customer Advisors to work for a large global banking organisation based in Southampton.  You will be responsible in promoting and selling, over the phone, products and services to both new and existing customers, always providing an excellent customer experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following
Taking incoming calls, or making calls, you’ll engage with your customers to find out their exact individual needs, and offer products and services to meet them.  You’ll clarify the benefits of each product or service, as well as explaining the various options available, and either close the sale yourself or pass the call to another colleague
Identify customers’ needs and offer suitable products and excellent service
Conduct telephone-based customer service reviews, identifying customer needs
Aim to meet individual sales and lead generation targets
Keep up an excellent level of product knowledge
You will be expected you to hit weekly sales targets, and your performance will also be measured on criteria such as helpfulness, professionalism, and meeting the customer's needs.
