ASSISTANT MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT

Supplying to many of the worlds leading automotive OEM and system producers, business is in growth mode and they are now seeking to add support within the Finance department.
The Role
Taking responsibility for complete month end close to the required standard and assisting the Engineering Finance Team the daily duties of the role will include:
Working within the local and corporate systems to complete general ledger entries and corporate reporting.
Analysis and reporting of accounts and other statistical / non-financial data within agreed deadlines.
Provide forecast data to management for use in business decisions.
Assist and work within the team to prepare monthly management accounts for two business units.
Assistance with monthly tooling tracking, engineering program status reports.
Assistance with monthly balance sheet control account reconciliations.
Quarterly attest duties.
Maintenance of fixed asset register.
Other ad-hoc duties as required.
The Person
The ideal candidate will have a background within automotive engineering / general manufacturing and have experience of working within a financial accountant environment with a strong mix of the following skills and experience:
Studying towards CIMA / ACCA
Numerate, accurate individual with strong excel skills
Reliable and trustworthy
Strong communicator
Able to work on own initiative with a conscientious approach
A team player with confidence to deal with all levels of management
The Package
