Assistant Manager

An exciting opporunity in Americas Marketing is available at Tiffany Co. The ideal candidate must have ad agency experience in media planning and buying.

This person is responsible for the development, execution, maintenance and evaluation of local media plans in the US and all media plans in Canada. Responsibilities include briefing and managing external media agencies and consultants, coordinating with Retail MVPs/Directors and developing and maintaining all related media documents and reports. Infusing energy, enthusiasm and brilliance into this work is a must.

Interface with external vendors, providing planning direction, evaluating recommendations, providing media approvals and ensuring approved plans are fulfilled
- C2C (outdoor)
- NNN (national and local newspaper, local online)
- B. Bank (local magazine)

Contribute to development of market-level priorities throughout the year
- Participate in regular MVP conference calls and develop related call reports
- Capitalize on local opportunities (important target segments, competitive) and develop related POVs

Collaborate with internal colleagues to ensure accurate and timely plan execution
- Communicate plan details to Account team
- Discuss potential plan adjustments with Account team to manage deadlines and
ensure creative fulfillment
- Partner with Marketing Analysis team to reconcile spending and invoices

Participate in the evaluation of all media plans (e.g. media vitality, online results analyses, positioning reports, audience delivery analyses)

Contribute to internal presentations and reports and monitor competitive marketing, media, luxury trends

Qualified candidates will have a bachelors degree, 3+ years media planning experience with expertise in both traditional and digital media and the poise and manner to represent Tiffany Co. both internally and externally. The ideal candidate will be mature, enthusiastic, committed and analytical, with excellent communication skills and an ability to prioritize and multi-task. This candidate will also be highly organized, detail-oriented, have a commitment to excellence and innovation and an appreciation of style and design. An inspirational and motivational management style as well as strong presentation and writing skills are required. Computer proficiency (MS Word, MS Outlook, MS Excel) is required.
