Assistant Manager
A Big 4 firm are looking to recruit an Assistant Manager for their Corporate Tax Advisory team in Gatwick.
As an Assistant Manager in this firm’s Corporate Tax Advisory team you will be involved in a broad range of areas and work with a variety of clients ranging from large multi-nationals through to owner managed businesses, as well as travel and aviation businesses. Your role will be highly varied, involving a range of tax advisory areas including MA, transfer pricing, restructuring and international tax. You will be constantly developing your technical and client relationship skills and will have plenty of room for development opportunities.
As Assistant Manager you will be assigned your own portfolio of clients, allowing you to take ownership of your workload, manage the internal client team and develop your skills and knowledge. You will lead the delivery of tax technical advice on a variety of projects including cross border transactions, large scale restructuring, transfer pricing and MA. Additionally, you will work with the wider team to develop new relationships and offerings.
In order to be successful, you must have experience of advising clients on UK corporate tax issues. You will be CTA/ACA qualified or equivalent and be able to work to tight deadlines under pressure. Excellent interpersonal skills are imperative for this advisory role so you must have exemplary communication skills as well as enthusiasm and motivation for further development.
