Sr Associate – Private Equity
This well established European Private Equity firm specialising in Infrastructure and Clean Energy are requiring an Investment Manager to join their London team.
The firm have a proven track record of investments spread across the UK and Europe with over €500m AUM. The firm has over a decade experience in transforming business’ through special situation buyouts with a principal focus on wind, solar and biomass.
The role:
• Playing a key role in the origination and execution of transactions,
• Monitoring portfolio companies, including financial modelling, drafting offer letters and internal investment memos and review of due diligence,
• Liaising with advisors and management teams,
• Assisting with origination and identifying investment opportunities,
• Establishing relationships with relevant third parties (consultants, advisers and lawyers etc.)
• Preparation of investment memos and reports for investors,
• Analysing the financial viability of companies and projects.
The requirements:
• A strong MA background and understanding of renewable energy,
• A bachelors’ degree 2:1 or above in the relevant discipline from a top university,
• Strong commercial judgement,
• Strong communicator and team player,
• Good finance and analytical skills,
• Interest in the clean energy sector,
• Decision making skills,
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (very strong modelling skills) and PowerPoint,
• Must have 1 European language in addition to Fluent English.
