Assistant Manager – Commercial Banking – Kildare
Fixed term contract for 2 years.
Salary: 55k – 60k
Our client is a leading financial institution here in Ireland and abroad. On their behalf we are actively seeking Assistant Managers to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Focused on SME clients loans.
- Manage a portfolio of commercial loans and identify early risk indicators on existing loans.
- Conduct due diligence on assigned cases and put forward best alternatives for maximum loan recovery.
- Monitor and control a team with their respective portfolios of high risk cases and manage own portfolio of larger high risk and complex cases.
- Develop and review customer strategies, liaising with other functions as appropriate and ensure execution as appropriate in order to improve the company’s risk position.
- Ensure compliance with company and regulatory policy taking action where necessary in order to minimise risk.
- Professionally develop the business in accordance with both regulatory standards and internal and external control procedures, structuring lending proposals in line with the Banks credit processes.
- Lead and motivate reporting staff to deliver, offering the necessary training, development and leadership that they require.
