Assistant Manager – Group Business Performance recruitment
Our client is a large financial services organisation within the banking industry who are involved in the personal, retail and corporate banking sectors.
Your duties will include:
- Monitoring and analysing actual performance against annual financial plans and budget using various MIS reports and tools.
- Compiling and reconciling monthly performance reporting.
- The preparation and submission of financial returns to both internal and external bodies.
- Variance analysis on financial aspects such as balance sheets, revenue and cost lines.
- Correct capturing of revenue and variances and having procedures in place to prevent inaccuracies and errors.
- Ensuring accounting standards and principles are adhered to and that any revenue or cost variances are captured and reported accordingly.
Our Client is looking for candidates who have a minimum of three years finance experience within the banking industry. The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor Degree and a post qualification Degree in a finance related discipline. Candidates holding an accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA or CIMA) will have an advantage. A working knowledge of Oracle GL and advanced Microsoft skills is essential.
