Salary: 45K – 55K
Location: Kerry / Limerick
Our client, a leading financial services institution is looking to hire a number of relationship and restructuring managers for their regional offices.
The successful candidate will have full responsibility for the Credit Management of a mixed loan portfolio and ensure that all credit policies are adhered to in line with bank policy.
The Role:
- Manage a portfolio of loans ranging from €0 - €1m and identify early risk indicators on existing loans
- Conduct due diligence on assigned cases and put forward best alternatives for maximum loan recovery
- Monitor and control a team with their respective portfolios of high risk cases and manage own portfolio of larger high risk and complex cases.
- Develop and review customer strategies, liaising with other functions as appropriate and ensure execution as appropriate in order to improve the company’s risk position
- Ensure compliance with company and regulatory policy taking action where necessary in order to minimise risk.
- Professionally develop the business in accordance with both regulatory standards and internal and external control procedures, structuring lending proposals in line with the Banks credit processes. Lead and motivate reporting staff to deliver, offering the necessary training, development and leadership that they require
The Candidate:
- A strong technical understanding of complex credit issues
- 3-4 years banking experience
- A track record in dealing with debt and restructuring issues
- Experience in leading and mentoring a team
- Strong communication skills
- An ability to manage and grow a portfolio in line with new credit guidelines
