Project Officer / PMO Analyst recruitment
The UK IT Regional Management Office, led by the UK IT COO, supports the UK IT Regional Board in delivering its remit and acts as the facilitator between participating IT streams to ensure that information flow, tasks, conflicting issues and problems are handled and addressed.
The UK IT regional management office requires an highly skilled project analyst / PMO to assist in:
• The representation and communication of regional IT activities to stakeholders within the Group Technology organization, utilizing various media
• The coordination and/or delivery of key objectives for the regional IT office through facilitation and participation in the associated working groups
• Interaction and coordination with other UK based IT functions and the wider Group Technology organization (for example CTO)
• The role will also be required to play a supporting role in board meetings recording and tracking key decisions and actions
As the successful candidate your key responsibilities will include supporting the UK IT COO in:
- The delivery and tracking of UK IT Board strategy and activities
- On going running of the operational framework and processes for the regional UK IT function
- Establishing and maintaining a web presence for the regional function
- Coordinating with other organizations within the firm, including, Corporate Communications, HR, CREAS, Operational Risk etc
As the ideal candidate you are / have:
- Self-starting, disciplined, creative, enthusiastic, and able to meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills, analytical abilities, writing skills, basic project management skills, and relationship building skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain both formal and informal networks within disparate functions
- Experience in a project analyst / PMO role, within a financial services organization
- Strong MS Office skills, in particular Powerpoint, Excel and Word; MS Sharepoint skills
