Assistant Manager - Transactions (Contract role)
The Company
Our client is a long established bank, based in Dublin City Centre. They have recently embarked on a Deleveraging Plan across all asset classes.
The Challenge
Reporting to the Head of Transactions, on a team responsible for the supporting and optimal execution of transactions and coordinating the closing process for all transactions executed by the team. Key responsibilities include:
- Assist the Line Manager in managing the workflow of the support and closure teams to support the Transaction team's requirements
- Draft, in conjunction with the Line Manager, a timeline and project plan for each project to ensure that each task required to achieve the timely closing of a transaction is planned and communicated to all stakeholders.
- Oversee the closing and settlement of specific transactions and where necessary assist in these matters. Escalate any necessary matters to the Line Manager.
- Review draft transaction documentation and bring to the attention of the Line Manager any transaction matters that are likely to impact on the closing team's work streams.
- Maintain professional working relationships with colleagues and external advisors especially as it relates to the diligence of loan assets and the closing process for transactions.
- Provide accurate timely data to input into the management information requirements for the Non-Core Unit
- Assist in the diligence of pools of loans identified for potential sale as required
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years experience in a similar role with a focus on transactional closing experience and driving operating efficiencies.
The Compensation
Remuneration will be in line with market rates and experience of chosen candidate.
