The full time exempt position is responsible for the efficient operation of the Mid-Atlantic Community Leadership (CLT) offices. The position provides direct assistance to the Community President and other members of the CLT. The Assistant to the President serves as staff in recording, transcribing, and maintaining meeting minutes for CLT meetings, Community meetings and Assemblies. The position is responsible for planning and organizing the CLTs’ schedules calendars. This key position assists the President, assembles confidential information, manages meeting materials, provides strategic management of the integration of all records data for the Mid-Atlantic Community. The position provides information and periodic direction to others to ensure efficient operations and appropriate staffing. Acts as a project manager for special projects on a routine basis.
Qualifications include knowledge and experience related to Religious Community; understanding of canonical and civil law implications for a Religious Community strongly preferred; current status as a Sister within a Religious Community strongly preferred; Bachelors degree in a related field required; Masters degree preferred; proficient in Microsoft Word/Outlook; skilled in Excel/Power Point; attentive to details; anticipates needs and acts proactively exercising discretion and independent judgment.
This position reports directly to the President, Mid-Atlantic Community.
