Assistant Underwriter
Full Job Description
You will be required to complete the following duties :
- Day to day support to the operational staff across the sites with referral to the Motor underwriter where required.
- Assist in maintaining the underwriting guide including providing information on the most common telephone referrals.
- Carry out referral overrides and weekly renewal reviews.
- Process ad-hoc CUE enquiries and complete investigations into claims history by liaising with previous insurers.
- When necessary investigate competitor activity including cover and pricing.
- Assist in the production of training bulletins to communicate underwriting changes to operational areas.
- Assist in the investigation of underwriting complaints.
Our client is looking for an individual who has worked within a Motor Underwriting role or has been a in senior Claims- Broker role within Motor Insurance.
