Full Job Description
To be a competent, technical analyst within the Pricing Development Team and contribute fully and confidently to ensure:
- the achievement of all relevant Corporate Plan targets and objectives
- the delivery of a market leading loss ratio
- the innovative development of personal lines products to create or fulfil market needs
- the provision of a quality responsive service to internal and external customers
- that knowledge - skills and best working practices are shared-promoted within the team
- that we are 100% compliant with all appropriate legislation
- that the principles of Treating Customers Fairly that are expressed in our Customer Commitment are embedded into practice and procedures.
Duties Responsibilities Include::
- To implement and ongoing project, developing new rating platforms and monitor-controlling existing underlying Motor and Household pricing structures, in line with the objectives of the Corporate Plan in the short term and the ambitions Retail in the longer term. Utilise the latest methodologies, techniques and data sources to firstly place Retail in the upper quartile in terms of pricing sophistication, eventually reaching a market leading position.
- Further develop and maintain "The Continuous Pricing Process" - this includes the co-ordination and implementation of GLM analysis, rate reviews, documentation-governance and oversight of any test procedures-results.

As well as the following skills and qualifications our client is looking for someone with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and have experience of previously managing the fullPL and budgetof a business unit.
Strong numerical skills (including a 2:1 minimum degree in a numerical subject)
Microsoft Office (including strong Excel skills)
Programming experience preferred
Good communication skills
Problem solving
Fluent in English
Previous Industry experience
CII qualification or progress towards
