Assistant Vice President, Cash Operations, Technology & Operations recruitment
Group Technology and Operations (TO) enables and empowers our Bank with an efficient, nimble, scalable standard infrastructure through a strategic focus on Productivity, Quality Control, Operating Models, Technology and People. In Group TO, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.
Responsibilities
- To lead and manage the daily operation activities and staff resources in handling Inward Telegraphic Transfer (ITT) / Outward Telegraphic Transfer (OTT)
- Manage escalation and queries from other supporting teams and business units relating to ITT/OTT and appropriately execute in a professional and timely manner
- Identify and manage risks and controls. Perform control and review functionalities to ensure no backlog, lapse or gaps in operations activities.
- Effective management of resources to improve operation activities and team productivity.
- Identify and manage training needs and ensure the team's BCP, SOP, DR Drill activities are in good order
Requirements
- Degree holder with at least 8 years relevant experience in Cash Operations in the Banking Finance industry, preferably within Corporate Banking
- Sound knowledge in Cash and Remittance Operations and related Operations matters
- Proven supervisory and team management experience with strong people skills
- Accurate, meticulous and organized with ability to handle ad-hoc projects independently
- Excellent communication skills both spoken and written
