The Technology and Operations team designs, develops and maintains computer application systems to support banking operations and provide innovative IT solutions, while harnessing new technologies to meet corporate objectives. In addition, we centralise, standardise and regionalise like-activities to achieve economies of scale and improve/re-engineer end-to-end processes to achieve world-class standards.
Responsibilities
- Activate, mobilize and direct key resources to ensure the application level DR (Disaster Recovery) setup for critical applications when key components fail
- Enforce HA (High Availability) flip and application level DR as BAU (Business As Usual) operation for critical application
- Publish IT resiliency dashboard monthly
- Govern application resiliency in accordance to Bank guidelines and highlight non-compliance applications
- Plan annual DR drills (network connectivity, application site DR) for the regions
- Communicate IT resiliency policy, standard guideline to key stakeholders
- Conduct and certify yearly site DR drills for the regions, application level DR for all Cat1 and Cat2 in the regions
- Maintain the up-to-date DR repository for the regions align it to the application repository, Infra repository
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience in IT system design (being application, infrastructure) in a banking environment
- Independent, energetic, self-motivated individual with good communication skills
- Strong analysis and design skills
- Good problem solving skills
- Practical knowledge on Infrastructure design
- Practical experience on Open system, Unix and Wintel Platform, system administration experience is preferred
- Knowledge in middle-ware like IBM Websphere MQ, Database, Connect Direct, SSH preferred
- Project management skills will be an advantage
