HSS is split into three divisions, namely, Fund Services, Custody (CNC) and CTLA (Corporate Trust Loan Agency)
Principal Accountabilities
Reporting into Head of Client services Implementation, the incumbent is required to support and manage all aspects of the transaction management and agreements from initial take on of new and existing business in order to ensure smooth implementation of business.
• Review prospectus, trust deeds and notices.
• Coordinate and supervise legal review of fund documentation and other agreements.
• Coordinate with clients and their lawyers on establishment of offshore CIS in various offshore jurisdictions.
• Coordinate and manage the transaction process from initial meeting with potential clients to the commencement of servicing of funds
• Ensure documentation meets business requirements
• Liaise with lawyers to act in the best interests of the company and unit holders
• Ensure any new terms or sub-funds are appropriately included into existing agreements.
• Establish the bibles for new business
• Maintain all current documents appropriately
• Coordinate and ensure all signed copies are received.
• Communicate with MAS on termination or maturity of unit trust
• Request for legal fee quotation and approve legal invoices
• Meet up with clients if necessary.
Skills/Attributes Required
• Legally trained candidate with 8 – 10 years of relevant experience;
• Excellent written / oral communication skills, strong interpersonal, project management and negotiation skills;
• Ability to provide professional guidelines and advice to clients on operational issues of unit trust business;
• Sharp Analytical skills to enhance procedures and controls;
• Problem solving attitude and client focus;
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
• Willing to change and be proactive to drive change;
• High integrity and professionalism
