Assistant Vice President/Compliance Manager recruitment

JOB PURPOSE
· To assist senior members of the Hong Kong Compliance Team to manage compliance risks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Review, assist and coordinate with outsourcing applications. Provide advisory support where required.
· Assist, coordinate and arrange with the relevant Businesses in the completion of regulatory self assessments and surveys with the stipulated deadline.
· Assist in the distribution of circulars, guidelines and consultations issued by the regulators to the relevant Businesses.
· Assist in handling regulatory enquiries, inspections or investigations.
· Assist in compliance reporting, in particular, the preparation of compliance reports.
· Assist senior members of the Hong Kong Compliance Team to develop compliance policies and procedures.
· Assist senior members of the Hong Kong Compliance Team in ad hoc projects and applications.

JOB DIMENSIONS
Internal Relationships:
· All businesses, corporate, different Lines of Business Compliance, and other control functions within the JPMC Group.

External Relationships:
· HK Regulators - SFC, HKMA, HKEx (with HKMA as focus)

Skills

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR THE ROLE

Language Skills:
· English
· Fluent Cantonese preferable.

Experience:
· More than 6 years Hong Kong market experience
· Law degree or other closely-related professional qualification
· Strong communications skills in English
· Good analytical and problem-solving skills
· Project management skills
· Control-focused
