Responsibilities
- Manage end to end process (Documentation, Treasury, Operations, GL reconciliations, Collateral, Tax Compliance and Client Service) in an International Leasing specific environment.
- Interface with Outside Counsel, Vendors, Equipment Management, Credit, Sales, Transaction Management Team, Finance and Audit.
- Review of lease and loan packages to assure all documents are complete and accurate prior to funding as well as assuring the bank has a priority lien in the equipment we are financing.
- Provide "In Country" expertise on deal structures, pricing, tax compliance, regulatory risk and accounting treatment.
- Review of lease and loan packages to assure all transactions have been accounted for correctly and in compliance with policies and procedures in all required locations and booking entities.
- Ensures proper communication and compliance of company and regulatory policies affecting areas are managed.
- Assists in projects, system conversions and other operational functions as needed
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in finance or accounting
- 5 - 10 plus years experience in the banking or leasing industry with significant operational and documentation experience.
- Specific experience in leasing in a vendor finance or captive finance business model is strongly preferred
- Thorough knowledge of leasing business or bank branch operations
- Working knowledge of common forms of lease documentation, software license agreements and other typical forms of customer finance documentation
- Working knowledge of vendor finance business, program concepts, indirect servicing requirements, familiarity with typical program agreements, assignment documents, program origination and on boarding process
- Familiarity with operational and administrative processes such as customer invoicing, cash application, collections, end of lease management.
- Ability to analyze, interpret and negotiate third party documentation.
