PR Travel Hospitality – Assistant Account Executive
Seeking big fish to feed in small pond (i.e., well respected full service marketing communications boutique agency). We have exciting clients and a great staff comprised of dynamic, focused and creative people who bring diverse talents to the table. We’re looking to add a highly motivated, self-assured team player to the travel PR fold to assist with day-to-day account work on several resort, destination and tour operator clients.
This is a very hands-on job where the right candidate can truly learn and engage in all aspects of the PR business. We encourage and foster growth and welcome proactivity across all platforms. Duties will include but are not limited to: story research, drafting press releases and media pitches, creating/updating media lists, aiding in the planning and activation of client events and press trips, monitoring resulting media coverage and industry news.

Requirements:
1-2+ years PR/communications experience. Travel expertise preferred.
A starter Rolodex of travel media contacts
Sharp pitching skills
Proficient writer

Savvy client counsel
Has social media experience
Fluent in Spanish not required, but a plus
Good sense of humor and a love for travel a must!
