Associate 1 – Investment Banking
This global investment bank now seeks an Analyst 3 / Associate 1 to join their Financial Sponsors Coverage team with a specific interest in the French mid-market. You must be fluent in Business French to apply
The mid-market in France has a great deal of opportunity to offer the Private Equity community and is a relatively immature market compared to that of the UK and Germany. As a result, the bank is now keen to take advantage of the strong relationships they've gained in the region and bring PE clients to the territory.
The Role:
The Financial Sponsors coverage team works closely with many of the largest and most prestigious Private Equity firms in the world as well as smaller, focused Private Equity firms with a strong interest in investing in companies across EMEA. The France team works with regional Commercial Bankers
You will be supporting the Senior Management team on a wide range of responsibilities including:
* Planning preparing for external client meetings.
* Managing and maintaining the team database and CRM tools to update client plans
* Working in close liaison with the internal Product teams (leveraged, acquisition, structured, mezzanine finance teams) to identify potential acquisition targets and plan the best possible financing solution for the opportunity.
* Assist in the development and maintenance of the fund-raising calendar.
This is an outstanding opportunity to build a network of Private Equity contacts within the French investment community and be involved in some very exciting deals. It is anticipated that you will be travelling regularly from a London base throughout France.
