Role description

•  Assisting DP in respect of certain active clients and the portfolio management of the London Transportation Finance Shipping loan book including, but not limited to, the preparation of credit packs and reviews, financial modelling, market analysis, rating reviews, covenant monitoring, CDD and documentation.

•  Responsible together with the DP (Portfolio Management) for all aspects of the post drawdown management of loan facilities provided to clients of the London Shipping Group in order to ensure the Bank’s position is protected and we are not put at undue risk.

•  Liaison with Risk Management and front office members of Transportation Finance as per areas of responsibility.

 

Core tasks and material responsibilities

•  Preparation of credit packs including detailed industry analysis, calculation of rating and building a financial model for signature by SCO and appropriate Deal Principal.

•  Preparing and submitting waiver requests for signature by SCO and appropriate Deal Principal.

Together with DP (Portfolio Management) or other senior members of the Transportation Finance London shipping team, attend client meetings.

•  Assisting in marketing and origination including research material and preparation of pitch books.

•  Assisting with the documentation process in liaison with the relevant DP.

•  Ensuring that loan facilities are reviewed within the dates recorded within the Bank’s booking system.

•  Covenant checking, monitoring and subsequent filing in DocCentral. 

•  Liaison with Operations, Compliance, Risk, Legal etc. to ensure that CDD is satisfactorily completed and facilities are correctly booked in the bank’s systems and at all times comply with the Bank’s procedures.    

•  Maintenance of all aspects of data quality including quarterly security cover updates, maintenance and renewal of ratings, customer and facility static data and relevant TSCM updates.
