Role description
This is an exceptional opportunity for an Associate - Project Finance to join this Investment Bank in London Canary Wharf.
The team is extremely well-respected and successful and this is a great opportunity to join them at a busy time as they grow. They are a lending team but advisory led.
Responsibilities
• Origination, structuring, due diligence and execution of Project Finance transactions, particularly advisory led.
• Creating, manipulating and owning complex financial models.
• Overseeing the financial modelling done by junior analysts.
• Due diligence and writing of credit proposals.
• Take a prominent role in deal teams.
Who we're looking for
We are looking for a recent Associate 1 or ambitious Analyst 3 from a bank's PF Advisory team or at a similar level with a advisory team / boutique.
The ideal candidate will have:
• A strong track record in Project Finance / PF Advisory from a recognised financial institution or advisory boutique.
• Experience in either Oil Gas, Power Renewables or Infrastructure. This is a slight preference for Oil Gas.
• Very strong financial modelling skills.
• Strong credit analyses and writing skills.
• Exposure across the origination, due diligence, structuring and execution spectrum.
• European languages, particularly German or Portuguese would be useful.
