Associate
The Distressed Investment team of a Global Private Equity Investment Firm seeks an Associate to join their extremely talented team.
Based in the heart of Mayfair, the firm has assembled an outstanding team of professionals and has a fund of over €3bn at their disposal with a strategy to invest in companies and business sectors where management may have industry expertise but lack capital or other resources to return to growth.
The firm favours cross-border investments that benefit from European integration or provide opportunity for global distribution. They also seek to maximise value by focusing the strategy around core business lines, divesting in under-performing assets / divisions of portfolio companies and enhancing the strategic and operational expertise the company may require to return profit.
An Associate is required with exceptional academic credentials, a minimum of 3 years experience in Private Equity, Investment Banking or Management Consultancy from a tier one firm and the self-confidence to back yourself amongst an elite team.
Key expectations:
* Top class academic credentials
* Highly numerate with advanced financial acumen (financial modelling - LBO, DCF, WACC etc)
* Excellent communication skills
* A second European language
* Experience working on distressed deals a distinct advantage though not essential
* Stand-out leadership qualities
