Associate / Associate Director – Leveraged Finance
The London team originates and executes mid and large cap Sponsor and Acquisition Finance transactions in Europe.
The role will involve:
• Presenting bank's debt capabilities, identifying future deal-flow of interest, actively originating potential transactions (primarily sponsor LBO)
• Executing MLA/Bookrunner underwriting commitments
• Development of new business opportunities by product or geography
• Maintain regular contact with key, corporates, financial sponsors, funds and lead arranging banks
• Manage the execution of transactions; origination, credit analysis, financial modeling, Committee proposals and documentation
• Supervising, mentoring and developing junior members of the team
The candidate will have:
• Experience of arranging large cap European private equity sponsor led leveraged finance transactions.
• Strong credit background
• Strong Financial Sponsor Client facing experience
• Proven track record of supporting LBO origination/execution including reviewing and negotiating term sheets and legal documentation
• Credit analysis training/modelling
• Finance (or related) Degree
• Candidates must have German language skills
