The Business

Commonwealth Insurance Limited (CIL) is the General Insurance arm of the Commonwealth Bank of Australia protecting the Home and Cars of over 500,000 Australians. This business is accountable for the end to end servicing of CommInsure General Insurance customers including policy acceptance and administration, servicing customer enquiries, underwriting, claims and customer complaints. The team is focused on delivering quality solutions to CBA customers.

CommInsure is a Division of Wealth Management, offering a range of life insurance, superannuation, retirement income, investment and general insurance products and services. CommInsure conducts business through a number of legal entities including: Colonial Mutual Life Assurance Society Limited and Commonwealth Insurance Limited.

About the role

An exciting opportunity exists for a self-motivated leader to join one of the world's leading banks as a Team Leader Motor Assessing . You will report directly into the National Assessing Manager Motor Claims.

In this newly created role you will be responsible for managing a team of motor assessors remotely. This is an excellent opportunity for you to utilise your leadership skills and demonstrate effectively your own technical ability to motivate and mentor your team.

You will provide a highly professional claims and assessing management and settlement services, through direct and indirect customer contact and the appropriate management of designated third party vendors and service providers. As required you will also undertake field assessments, including mid-repair and post-repair inspections. You will be responsible for internal external escalation of customer complaints and service queries.
