Description
- Assist in executing integrated sales, relationship, and credit strategies that are in alignment with the regional business plan to achieve desired revenue and service hurdles.
- Work closely with Commercial Banking Relationship Managers to provide product specialists with qualified referrals for cross-sell. Assist in closing deals across all products.
- Ensure safe and sound underwriting/credit practices are followed to promote sound lending activity.
- Perform detailed financial analysis on companies, including trend and ratio analysis, and interpret the financial information.
- Accompany bankers on customer site visits, when appropriate.
- Maintain frequent interaction with centers of influence, diverse industry segments, community leaders, regulators, and senior business contacts.
- Be familiar with Citibank credit policies and practices and regulatory policies, to assist unit in achieving compliance with the above and satisfactory ratings from internal and external auditors.
- Ensure that the organization's activities are carried out in accordance with all regulatory, legal, and governmental regulations.
- Support the bankers in underwriting requests for credit extensions for new/existing clients, and in writing annual reviews.
- Assist with the preparation and presentation of loan committee packages.
- Perform credit and personal financial statement analysis on individuals, guarantors, and co-borrowers in order to determine repayment capacity based on cash flow statements, tax returns, and statements.
- Perform industry and geographical research and other due diligence as needed.
