My client is a well-established and growing finance company who specialise in motor finance and they are currently looking for an experienced Underwriter to join their growing team. Ideally you will have experience within underwriting in the financial industry and have great administration skills.
Duties Tasks
Take incoming calls and distribute them to sales staff
Proposing clients to the relevant lending association
Progress chasing with lenders
Packaging deals to submit to lender
Dealing with customer lending queries
Management of proposals to acceptances from lenders
Competent completion of finance documentation
Comprehensive updating of the internal web based CRM system
Day to day support for designated telesales Managers
Management of financial targets and reporting
Skills Required
Previous experience working within finance underwriting, ideally motor finance but not essential.
A planner who is able to analytically plan day to day activities set correct client expectations.
Excellent qualification skills, able to listen, empathise and qualify a client’s need quickly and efficiently
Persistent / articulate with high integrity.
Working hours
Tuesday to Friday
9am - 5:30pm
10am - 6:30pm
Saturday - 10am to 4pm
Monday and Sundays off
Salary £16K + bonus
