ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR – HUMAN RESOURCES Private Equity / Real Estate recruitment

We are looking for a commercially-aware Human Resource professional to join a dynamic firm based in Hong Kong. The right candidate would have 5 years of experience and above as a senior Human Resource generalist/Business Partner/Consultant. We are looking for a bright individual who has key negotiating skills, someone who is able to build and develop relationships and communicate complicated issues with ease. Your abilities in this role are crucial to your survival in the company. You will be judged on your personal intentions for the company as an individual as well as on a whole.

This is a highly profiled role in one of the world’s international investment management company backed by one of the world’s top Sovereign Wealth Funds. We are looking for someone who will enjoy the stability and rewarding staple income of this growing international company at all stages of the business and its’ processes. You should be proficient in payroll and tax function and be comfortable to perform this on a day to day basis and proliferate at ease as one of your natural core competencies. You should also be resourceful to serve the department with its needs for recruitment and sourcing of the best talents in order to meet HR objectives.

The ideal candidate should have already been trained in Compensation Benefits, possess strong all rounded working knowledge of Hong Kong and People’s Republic of China’s tax regulations and in depth human resources knowledge.. You should speak excellent English. Cantonese as well as Mandarin. You should be able to work independently while gaining the respect and enthusiasm of others, you will also find that you will too have the support and mentorship of the Director and support from the juniors that you will be managing. The role will involve a variety of tasks that will change regularly depending on the needs of the business. You must be a quick and adaptable worker to recognise priorities, complete deals to deadlines and take on additional responsibility wherever necessary. In this role, you serve as Deputy to your reporting Director of Human Resources

This is a flexible person who is willing to work extended hours when necessary to complete projects on time, someone who is able to focus until the job is completed and who understands the scope for growth when they take on genuine responsibility for their work.
