Associate Director, Compliance recruitment
Our client is a global asset management and is looking for a candidate who can take on a leadership role to manage a small team
The Role
Reporting to the Chief Compliance Officer, you will be fully responsible for:
• Ensuring all investment guidelines and restrictions of the funds are managed
• Performing due diligence work on service providers on regular basis
• Supervising the compliance team of joint ventures of the company in China and Taiwan
• Reviewing the drafting of legal documents of company from a compliance perspective
• Conducting in house training for any changes of rules and regulations
The Successful Applicant
You will be a University Graduate holding a degree in law and/or economics preferred with at least 8 years experience gained within a financial services compliance function. You will possess sound knowledge of China regulatory requirements and have strong communication, analytical and leadership skills. Hands on experience with asset management business will be an advantage. Fluency in English and Mandarin, both written and spoken is essential.
