Associate Director – FIG M&A
My client is a leading global advisory firm. Due to a marked upturn in MA activity they are looking to add an experienced Associate Director to their Financial Services team.
The team advises mid and large cap Financial Institutions on mergers acquisitions, business reviews, disposals, financings and takeovers. The team has been growing steadily in spite of market conditions and has a strong franchise across the EMEA region.
The new hire will be based in London but will be actively involved in cross border transactions and will be expected to lead deal execution. The role will also involve:
Setting the transaction timetable
Negotiating with counter parties and their advisers
Interaction with other business units
Origination and identification of new business
Candidates should have:
At least 5 years experience in investment banking or corporate finance
Origination experience
Transaction experience in general insurance, life insurance, consumer finance, commercial finance and asset management
Strong financial modelling skills
High standard of spoken and written English
