Associate Director – Financial Investigations
Responsible for managing an aspect of a large investigation, or responsible for all aspects of case management, from conducting research and analysis, to structuring reports and managing resources, to presenting conclusions to clients. This is a client facing role and as such, you will be expected to build and retain key relationships and exceed in meeting the client's needs.
Accountabilities:
- Gain a deep understanding of the case and client, or taking direction from a senior member of the Financial Investigations Practice
- Scoping the project, writing and submitting proposals
- Manage aspects of case finances achieving successful management of the case budget
- Examine and interpret information to produce in-depth analysis, identifying where further research is needed
- Ability to analyse and interrogate large amounts of financial data; present findings in Excel
- Ability to effectively carry out interviews with a range of Stakeholders involved in the investigation
- Write reports which present the research in a client focused manner and addresses the clients’ central questions and concerns
- Support case work by using Excel and PowerPoint
- Build and maintain strong relationships with 3rd parties involved in the investigation
Background:
- Experience in an investigative/research intensive organisation
- Full or part ACA/ACCA qualified desirable
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- An analytical, inquisitive and logical mind
- Proven ability to research relevant markets, analyse information and clearly identify commercial opportunities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- A professional and commercial approach to problem solving
