Associate Director, Fixed Income Change Delivery

Summary:

 

Our client, a global Investment bank is looking for an Associate Director, Fixed Income Change Delivery.

The job holder will be responsible for managing the change delivery for Fixed Income within Global Market Operations.   You will be expected to contribute to the profitability of Global Markets businesses by managing the change team and leading strategic / tactical systems and business projects from project initiation through to successful project closure.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for end to end project delivery ranging from strategic e.g. regulatory projects through to small process improvement.

• Management of the overall book of work across multiple departments, product lines /project or analysis streams.

• Manage schedules, identify and track dependencies/ interdependencies, manage and escalate issues and risks, as appropriate.

• Assess and understand the implication of any change to the BAU team and downstream process in terms of technological/infrastructure demand, resources demand, skillset demand, workflow restructuring, and roles redefinitions.

• To ensure savings are achieved through process re-engineering and promote a standardised workflow across different regions

• Review, and be responsible for the overall delivery and output of the team  

Requirements:

• Solid experience of delivering change projects leading to an excellent understanding of the challenges of delivering change and how appropriate use of project management methodologies, standards and disciplines can improve the quality of change deliverables.

• Team management skills

• Business knowledge of Fixed Income products

• Demonstrable experience in the Investment Banking industry or similar environment (e.g. broker, custodian) together with experience of change management / re-engineering roles

• Proven track record of having delivered and/or reviewed complex, cross organisational/geographical business or technology change within Operations

• Experience in working in multi-national and multi-cultural financial institutions

• Experience of working closely with stakeholders in change from the front office business, infrastructure and IT.

• Able to build strong relationships with other functions and business units and to interface and influence senior managers in the organisation

• Excellent presentation, communication skills and interpersonal skills
