Associate Director – Fixed Income Research recruitment
This Sydney or Brisbane based position will suit a candidate wanting to contribute to FIIG’s leading presence in the national fixed income market. The successful applicant will have a combination of fixed income knowledge and experience in analysing financial institutions. Salary will commensurate with skills and experience.
This role will involve:
- Research coverage of domestic and international financial institutions
- Attending client meetings
- Contributing articles for The Wire – FIIG’s weekly research publication
- Contributing to various ad-hoc projects conducted by the Research team
- Being flexible to changes in Research requirements from FIIG and FIIG clients
- Display (and promote) leadership, professionalism and integrity to FIIG employees and clients
The ideal candidate will bring to FIIG:
- Proven experience in credit / fixed income research of domestic and international financial institutions
- Very strong understanding of the workings of, and reporting by, financial institutions
- Banking reform and Basel III knowledge
- Knowledge of the key drivers of credit and fixed income markets
- Relevant qualifications
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Sound understanding and usage of the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word in particular) and Bloomberg
