Associate Director, Privacy recruitment
One of the most recognisable names in Global Banking is looking to recruit an Associate Privacy Director to create and implement the privacy policy across the group to maintain it's obligations to the international privacy/data protection legislation and regulation.
Responsibilities
The position will act as the Groups Centre Privacy Manager, this position is responsible for ensuring the group has the necessary policies, guidance and oversight to ensure they are Compliant to the revelant regulations and requirements.
Build in conjunction with colleagues the framework to allow the group to operate within the boundaries of the revelant legislation and regulation.
Maintain the database for all of the required global privacy filings and/or notifications and Privacy Internet site.
Responsible for the gathering and circulation of privacy know-how within the privacy teams for the jurisdictions that the teams will operate in.
Skill
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
Self motivating to allow them to take ownership of intiatives.
Proficient in use of technology.
The successful candidate will have the following:
Knowledge of a financial services environment
The ability to translate complex legislation and to implement changes into the business to meet fully these new requirements.
Ideally suited to candidates from a legal back ground
