Associate Director Southern European countries-Covered Bonds
The role of Associate Director Southern European countries-Covered bonds includes, collecting and analysing portfolio data, reviewing legal documentation and analysis of the transaction structure as well as communication with counterparties and internal stakeholders.
Key skills sets required for the role include;
- Ability to write credit analysis reports and press releases on rated covered bonds, conduct in-depth quantitative credit risk analysis of the cover pool assets consisting mainly in mortgage loans or public sector debt.
- Conduct qualitative assessments of the operational risks based on on-site reviews at the issuers.
- Review all relevant laws and regulations, legal opinions and other documentation.
- Take responsible for the maintenance of up-to-date information on dedicated databases.
- Desire to undertake some European travel as required
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- Sound academic track record with a specialty in finance or statistical sciences.
- Ability to demonstrate some professional experience within the covered bonds market, in the credit analysis of financial institutions or have a background in securitisation, such as in RMBS, CMBS or CDO.
- Numeracy and computer proficiency is a must, including use of excel functions and application of modeling skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
- Fluency in other European languages is desirable
