Associate Director, Structured Finance recruitment
GENERAL FUNCTION:
- To maximise business opportunities and drive profitability within the Corporate Finance transaction led market and larger ticket cleaner refinance business.
- The Structured Finance team will front all of the Bank's SME products into this market and clearly establish a brand identity that maximises cross selling opportunities for the organisation.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Responsible for writing new business and achieving individual targets for lending, income and deal numbers.
- To continually develop market knowledge and understanding of the Invoice Finance and Asset Based Lending markets including competition, people, products and risk.
- Responsible for representing the Structured Finance team and Regional Office at industry and related functions and building a database of potential business introducers from networking activity.
- To ensure best practice is both shared and implemented within your own region and the national Structured Finance team.
- To adhere to company policy in the production of new business reports within the required time scales and standards.
- Pro-actively manage the sales relationship with counterparts in Asset Finance and Commercial Mortgages.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Well developed networking and negotiating skills.
- A strong consultative selling technique, excellent presentation skills and a natural self starter with a resilient character.
- Strong product and technical knowledge of Invoice Finance and Asset Based Lending, including Commercial Mortgages and Asset Finance.
- Good working knowledge of the legal and compliance issues affecting the industry.
- Ability to read and understand statutory financial information and financial projections and apply against the proposed deal structure in preparation for credit submission.
