Associate – EMEA Operations Divisional Management recruitment
Position Description
The EMEA Divisional Management Team reinforces Operations’ core values, across all Operations divisions in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Sponsored by the EMEA Operations Head and led by the EMEA Operations COO, Division Management is centrally placed to navigate all silos across EMEA Operations, taking a view on areas that impact everyone. We are pivotal in representing Operations when facing off to its partners across the firm including HR, Tech Data and Corporate Services. Areas of focus span across the Operations Control, Commercial and People goals.
This Operations Specialist role within the EMEA Division Management team will focus primarily on the Control and Commercial elements of the team's responsibilities by owning the team's budgeting, cost analysis process and management reporting.
Core functions of the role include:
• Manage comp/non-comp budgeting for all EMEA Divisional Management cost centres to ensure business plan is executed within budget. Analyse cost and allocations to reduce where possible
• Cost approvals monitoring via approvals system and review for cost reduction/saving and process enhancement opportunities across Divisional Management and Operations
• Manage non-comp expenses through bottoms up initiatives, policy review and approvals, partnering with infrastructure teams as needed
• Support the team Senior Ops Specialist in reviews of space utilization and optimise, desired cc adjacency and incremental space allocation reduction
• Utilise ORC monthly regional risk reporting in risk incident monitoring, analysis identification of trends patterns
• Utilise monthly regional risk reporting supplied by ORC to assist in risk incident monitoring, analysis and post-mortem process
• Oversight of voice recorded cost centres and periodic audits performed by ORC to ensure cost effective and controlled process across Operations
• Compile professional and appropriate management reporting relating to the above/the teams output to present to a range of audiences e.g. the EMEA COO and the Operations Management Group (OMG)

The incumbent will need to be highly organised and work to a consistently high standard. They will also need to be an excellent team player and flexible in their approach.

• Advanced Excel to support budgeting and analysis
• Presentation Skills - report on analysis and convey into high-level presentations for senior management and key stakeholders
• Project and modelling skills – to represent and present information in graphical forms that enhance decision-making and communications
• Organisational skills – to work with a vast array of information gathered during elicitation and analysis and to cope with rapidly changing information
• Interpersonal skills – to help negotiate priorities; build cross-divisional relationships; gain support from key stakeholders across Operations
