Lead PMO recruitment

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a Tier 1 Investment Bank as a Lead PMO. The primary responsibilities of this role are to manage all aspects of the Programme Management Office (PMO) for a major project within their Change Delivery group.

The role holder will support a number of change programmes on a global scale and will be expected to:

* Enforce compliance by the project managers with project documentation management and reporting timelines, such as project plans, communications plans, RAID logs
* Generate regular reporting in consultation with the Program Director
* Maintain programme MI such as the Programme RAID, Programme Milestone Plan, and Programme Comms Plan
* Track programme resource allocations and financials (together with Finance)
* Develop presentation materials (both regular and ad hoc) in consultation with the Program Director and with input from team management
* Build relationships by communicating, influencing and negotiating effectively with business heads, senior managers, consultants, technical experts across the whole department and business users

The successful candidate will be an experienced Lead PMO with strong project management skills who has extensive experience of running complex programs and projects in the Finance and Banking industry environment. You will have demonstrable experience working closely with senior stakeholders in change from the front office business, infrastructure and IT on concurrent initiatives. You must have excellent leadership and communication skills while candidates with a working knowledge of client (entity) reference data will have a distinct advantage.
