Description
Nomura seeks to recruit an Associate to Vice-President level professional to work in the firm’s Foreign Exchange Derivative Strategy research team. The position will involve identifying derivative trading opportunities within the universe of liquid crosses that make sense for a given set of views.
Skills and experience required:
The successful candidate will be able to develop and communicate FX derivative trading ideas to both internal and external clients. A deep knowledge of derivative products, including pricing and hedging, is essential. Commercial experience in a derivative strategy role is a prerequisite, as well demonstrated ability to create relevant and actionable FX derivative trade ideas. Solid grasp of macroeconomics, politics, and institutional realities of the FX market is necessary. Evidence of written and oral presentation skills in derivative products essential. Degree in quantitative discipline such as science or engineering preferred. Evidence of analytical achievement beyond degree desirable.
