We are seeking an Associate General Counsel to work in our London office and assist (in coordination with global regulatory, compliance and operations personnel), with regulatory interactions, implementation and filings of EMEA-based businesses of
Skills
- Law degree; qualified to practice law in EMEA (preferably in one or more EU member states)
- 4 - 10 years regulatory experience in the securities/corporate law area in EMEA; general knowledge of regional markets and regulatory environments in EMEA (preferably with good experience in the EU)
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, including the ability to influence others who are not in the same line of authority; demonstrated ability to drive consensus across business groups and deal with challenging situations at all levels of the business in a resilient, confident and practical manner; excellent problem-solving skills informed by deep and varied experience in forging solutions
- Excellent presentation, writing and analytical skills; able to communicate regulations in a clear, timely and effective manner to management and employees at all levels
- Excellent communication and listening skills with internal/external audiences
- Self-motivated and well organized with the ability to handle multiple, high-priority projects while attending to details; able to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure
- Hands-on, energetic and a motivated self-starter
- Professional demeanor, team player, ability to interface effectively with internal/external parties
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
