Associate-Leveraged Loan Portfolio Manager (Jacksonville, FL)

We are currently seeking an Associate/Analyst to execute and assist with managing all leveraged loan exposure within North America. The primary responsibilities of the above position include the below:
- Support senior team members in coverage of loan exposure
- Work with deal origination teams on preparation of loan screening memoranda
- Generate and review internal loan cost quotes utilizing internal exposure management tools for all new and current leveraged loans
- Determine expected loan productivity utilizing risk/return metrics and incorporate into related approval documents
- Coordinate with internal and external legal counsel on credit agreement documentation
- Assist with loan closings ensuring completion of proper documentation
- Analyze and monitor borrowers (left lead) for performance and adherence to terms of the credit agreements
- Assist in formulating and recommending action plans to Credit and Origination
- Help to identify opportunities with existing clients
- Interact with large bank syndicates
- Coordinate and work with the Origination effort on restructurings/repricings etc.
- Interact with and assist the Leveraged Debt Capital Markets desk in managing exposure and addressing issues raised by their clients
- Ensure the portfolio’s compliance with reporting requirements
- Track and follow-up on delinquent documentation
Analyst candidates will have:
- Understanding of financial statements
- Strong IT skills (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
In addition to the above, Associates candidates will have:
- Credit training
- Knowledge of MISYS is a plus
